AmeriCorps NCCC Maple 6 Team spends time helping at the Hollow

AmeriCorps Maple 6 NCCC team arrived in late October and stayed until mid-December helping out on many desired projects. Their main focus was on rebuilding some of the historic trails and some new ones placing tons of river stone into carved steps to last for decades. They also built some benches for relaxing along those trails, some signs to place around the historic site, cleaning out of two sinkholes filled with debris over the years, cutting down dead trees, helping roofers carry materials to the site, and thoroughly cleaning and oiling the woodwork in the house and studio. Great job!
